A: Pride, I would say. Just dealing with pride, and the constant battle with that.

Honestly…those who keep ragging on Lin calling him soft and questioning his toughness…. it’s easy for them to talk cos they won’t be the ones having to suffer the consequences if things go wrong.

If they think Lin has no heart or he’s not tough (i’ll show you tough.) just because he’s sitting out when he’s not even 100%, they clearly can’t seem to see reason… and they should read these two articles http://t.co/YoBblGGL | Lin returning to face Heat would be… Linsane

The kid is clearly dying to get in the game and play. But if the risks clearly outweighs the benefits, then there’s no point getting in the game.

I mean, he’s been at the end of the bench and worked his way to try to get into rotation for goodness sake. If there’s no risk to his injury, you’d think he wouldn’t want to help the team and play? Especially since his future is still up in the air come July. *shakes head* And you wonder why Lin always has to prove himself over and over again to people since they keep doubting and are skeptical about him….

Some interesting points to note.

Obviously, Lin hasn’t liked being hurt. But he’s had no problem with Linsanity subsiding.

“It’s settled down,” said Lin, whose Knicks fell 4-1 to the Heat in an East first-round series. “Not as much stuff going on, not getting pulled in as many different directions, and just learning how to say no, and learning how to weed people out and things like that. So I think I’m in a better place definitely. It’s still a little hectic for me every day trying to figure things out.”

Has it gotten the point Lin at least can walk the streets in New York?

“Maybe,” Lin said. “It depends if I put a hat on.”

Lin told reporters after Wednesday morning’s shootaround he was at about 85 percent. But he said before the game that perhaps he misspoke.

“I haven’t touched a rim in six weeks, so I really can’t jump right now the way I want to,” said Lin, who averaged 14.6 points and 6.2 assists in 35 games for the Knicks this season but 18.5 points and 7.7 assists in 26 games after he stunningly went from the end of the bench to a pivotal role. “So I don’t even know if it’s 85 percent. I probably shouldn’t have said that. But I can’t really jump or explode the way, even close to how I want to.

“If I could play right now on this, I don’t think I’d be able to defend or go by people or attack the rim… I talked to the doctor (Wednesday), I talked to the owner (James Dolan), and they advised me not play right now.”

Since the season now is over, Lin will have plenty of time to heal. He becomes a restricted free agent July 1, but said he wants to re-sign with the Knicks.

“Yeah, I’d love to. Yeah,” Lin said. “This city and the organization have been great for me. They believed in me, so that’s great.”

The start of the year of the dragon has been amazing as our favorite Point guard from Harvard entered New York Knicks , and then it happened,… LINSANITY.

I’ve been seeing videos of Jeremy Lin since back with the Golden State Warriors, I started liking him not actually because he is Asian. I discovered that his number back then with Harvard was “7” same with my favorite basketball anime character from Slam Dunk Akira Sendoh. That’s when I started liking Jeremy and then, started reading some articles about him , videos about him and liked how he was so humble. Specially also because he didn’t fail to thank God.

Linsanity was crazy. I can’t find any other words to explain this and dont want to explain further about it, cause everyone witnessed his Linderella story. He became so popular. His fan base huge. The tag Jeremy Lin that I used to follow is already updated everyday. WICKED! I didn’t jump into the Jlin+NYK bandwagon, no. I’ve like the New York Knicks already cause I’m also a fan of Landry Fields and Melo.

To sum it up, me , being the only Linsane person in class has been teased every single day by my guy classmates. Well because they think that Jeremy’s not that good and I’m like who are you to judge the guy he has done well. I thought Jeremy was right, as he said on his to the point interview on MSG ” You have to prove yourself and it has to be again and again and again.”

Jeremy has been through lots. From the end of the bench to our Lintendo hero. His faith only makes me and sure lots of other people respect him more. His smiles makes us adore him more. His whole character makes us love him more. That special thing that makes this man amazing for me is he is being human.

Many are forcing Jeremy Lin to rush back for the playoffs , some blaming him for the lost, saying that he is too soft or scared. We can’t rush anything specially something serious as a person’s injury.

People says Linsanity is gonna die as fast as it has risen but no. It won’t die as Jeremy is here and as long as there are people who believe in him Linsanity isn’t going anywhere.

To our beloved over size kid @Jlin7 i just wanna say this:

You’ve been on a journey, a tough journey, but you continued to believe, to hold on to God through everything. You are an inspiration to a lot of people. Continue smiling , keep your faith strong as it is. Know that your TeamJlin is here for you. You are blessed and thankful for it. Thank you Jeremy Lin :) Thank You for being Jeremy Lin. I wish you and your team all the best . Have a speedy recovery we’ll be waiting for you. It’ll be a rough road ahead, more trials more test ., but you can face them for sure . 1 Corinthians 16:13 .
